I’m at it again. The lazy blogging, the can’t be bothered’s, the lack of motivation. Been there done that, it comes around every now and then, inevitably. But this week I found my new years resolution list, scribbled hastily in the back of a notebook, all the plans I had for life in this limestone farmhouse, plans made when I had all the time in the world last year. Damn it it’s October. This happens every year. Every. Freaking. Year.
In an effort to pull my finger out, to live and blog with a bit more purpose, I’ve signed on for the fabulous Holly Becker’s ‘With Intention and Style’ course. I have previously attended Holly’s classes, and they’re beyond brilliant. So that’s that.
My excuse for being a lazy, unmotivated and uninspired blogger? I’ve been busy. Isn’t everyone? Yes. But all of a sudden I’m picking up work here in our new community. Real life, challenging, photography freelance work. I knew it would take about six months, and like clockwork almost to the day the phone began to rang, the emails came, I started shooting again. And it seems there is some sort of baby boom on the Limestone Coast, in the past month I have done three newborn sessions, and just today booked another two. Sweet, sweet, little babies. Sigh.
