As well as being a farmers wife, a mama to a wee blossom babe, a professional photographer, an amateur cook, a try-hard gardener, wannabe blogger and all-round-many-hat-wearer…I run a little handmade children’s-wear business, ‘Little Miss Emma’.
I create lots of little things for lots of little people – mainly things for sugar and spice little girls, but sometimes things for little boys of snakes, snails and puppy-dog tails! I tend to make simple, classic designs which have stood the test of time. I use 100% cotton fabrics in pastel and floral tones. My crochet skills come into play in Winter too – with lots of wool earflap hats, baby bonnets, wee booties, chunky-stitch cowls and organic cotton washcloths coming out of Little Miss Emma’s creative space.
The Australian handmade community is a fabulous place, full of inspiring and encouraging women (and men!) Please think about buying handmade and supporting a little local business like mine when you have a gift to buy next. Or just a little special something for yourself!
