…and so that was Christmas! Our first as a family, with our little pudding Eleanor Joy (who ate far too much wrapping paper and was spoiled rotten by doting big cousins, grandparents, aunties and uncles).
We spent Christmas Eve at my childhood home with my sister and her family, the big bloke in red made his way down Grandi’s chimney to deliver presents to four very lucky little girls, drank his beer, fed a carrot or three to his reindeer and was on his way back to the North Pole before dawn. Crayfish, prawns, oysters and champagne were on the menu for brunch with Grandad before the full lunch spread – ham, turkey, pork, pudding. We meandered our way down to Inverloch to Matt’s family in the afternoon, more gifts, more food, more love for our Christmas angel baby girl with her other baby cousins.
The week following has been spent between our two homes, by the sea and in the rolling green hills. Lots of memories made, delicious food prepared and consumed, and one very tired bubba at the end of it all. Hoping for some quiet time at home now Daddy has gone back to work.
Our 2014 was jam packed full of amazement, pure joy, wonder, challenges and reward. I shared this snippet into the past year on Instagram, but here is the extended version…
Wishing you all a very happy new year – I have absolutely no goals, resolutions or particular milestones in store for 2015, I am declaring it the year of ‘whatever’ and embracing just time, precious time, spent with our blooming blossom, seeing what unfolds and rolling with the punches.

Stunning pictures of a gorgeous Christmas. I’ve considered buying a little pizza oven like the one in your post but now I think I definitely will. Looks so yummy!

Beautiful photos of wonderful memories, Emma. Thank you for including us in your journey. No set agenda, bar completing the bedroom cupboards, sounds great. Enjoy your quickly developing Eleanor Joy.
