Floral Crowns and Baby Growing

June 7, 2013 by Emma

I had grand plans for blogging today. And sewing. And crocheting. But…we have visitors coming for the long weekend – visitors! I need to be cleaning this ol’ farmhouse and creating scrumptious treats so that they never want to leave.

As I type there is a TV aerial guy crashing about on my roof, hopefully fixing my woes of no TV signal here at Carlton. Yesterday marked nine weeks of life here on the Limestone Coast – and today nine weeks and one day of no TV. Which doesn’t overly bother me, evenings have been spent reading and crocheting and talking to my husband. But sometimes I would like to switch on the news at 7pm (especially when Matt often isn’t home until 7.30ish or later)…or watch Offspring…or Q and A…and stop watching Sex and the City DVD’s endlessly!

Over on Lou’s blog today there are some of my photos I took for her last weekend at the Queen Vic Markets. Isn’t she the most gorgeous pregnant lady you’ve seen? She makes it look pretty enticing (and no the ‘baby growing’ of this post title is not by me!) I can’t believe Lou is soon going to be a mother of three little people. That she made. Blows my mind. I can’t wait to meet (either virtually or in real life) the newest Baby Buma – Matt is a little miffed though that he won’t be born on his birthday, as Scout is born on mine!

Tzatziki to be made, towels to be washed, floors to be swept. Have a fabulous long weekend celebrating Lizzie’s birthday…which is actually in April I think? Silly.

I think it is in April … although coincidental or not Monday is actually her husband, Prince Philip’s Birthday as I found out this week. Love the photos.
