Moving to WordPress and Roasting Vegetables

May 6, 2013 by Emma

Oh good, you’ve found me! Here I am, over here on WordPress now. Fancy isn’t it? I’m all grown up and professional looking. After years of blogging on trusty ol’ Blogger I took a deep breath and made the switch. My photography site is with WordPress so I’m not completely unfamiliar with the system, but I’m still having a few *ahem* teething issues. Please bear with me as I play around with She Sows Seeds new home – I’m still undecided if I’ll transfer the meagre posts over from Blogger to here or just start afresh entirely.

One thing’s for sure, I’m planning on lots of lovely posts in the very near future – more recipes, more crafty tutorials, more photography, more writing, some farmy goodness thrown in (lambing has just started here) and exploring our new home.

Our very first real visitors are due at the farmhouse late this afternoon, none other than my mum! Excitement is building to have someone to talk to other than a little black dog (literally, that wasn’t a depression reference…) I’m planning on a trip to Robe and driving up those cellar door driveways I’ve been eyeing off.

In the meantime, the fire is on, I’m roasting vegetables for a lasagne extravaganza and continuing to tweak this here blog to make it somewhat enjoyable to read. Happy days.

Was it hard to move Emma? How much work is involved in shifting everything? Love the new look…I have been considering it myself but I am just not sure if my anxiety levels can take it 🙂

Looking forward to what you have planned, and this new home is looking a bit swish too! Sounds like its cold down there – not (yet) here!
