Newsflash: I am currently studying graphic design via distance education. Last year during our traveling honeymoon, trying to figure out what we were going to do, where we were going to live, where we were ‘headed’, one thing became pretty clear: Matt will most likely always work in a remote location, I need to be able to work from home, preferably online. My photography had always enabled me to do this to a certain extent, but we had always lived in densely populated areas, meaning an easy access to a large client base and travel times to shoots not a concern. Basically, I needed to add to my existing business and build on my skills, preferably where my strengths lay. Graphic design was a natural next step for me. After taking a lot of design subjects at university (where I studied photography, majoring in commercial) and a lot of my lecturers urging me to go on to study graphic design, this year I have finally gone back to school.
For the month of October I have designed a desktop background calendar for you to download. I have made it using the most common screen dimension of 1366 x 768 pixels, but in coming months I would like to offer a variety of sizes for different screen sizes. Simply click on the below image to enlarge, then right-click to save file or set as desktop background.
This month I’m hoping to kick some serious goals, tick some big items off my to-do list, go out on that limb and grab the fruit with both hands. It always seems just out of reach – but I’m sure that’s just my silly self-doubt kicking in and telling myself so.
Hope you have a happy and productive October like I’m planning!
