When I’m not baking and making and sewing and growing…I’m a professional photographer. It’s a craft I have been practicing for years and years – but I am not an expert. The day my photography doesn’t keep evolving and I keep learning is the day I’ll put my camera down. I hope that day never comes.
I spent my teenage years in a darkroom, agitating developer and adjusting enlargers. I went to university and studied photography for three years, learning from the best. I worked in commercial studio spaces shooting fashion, cars, food, products, under the tutelage of inspiring mentors.
But…my journey through photography comes back to a love of two simple things: people and light. Capturing moments in beautiful light. Simple.
