Ever reliable and prompt with a ‘wearing’ seasonal post! In my defence, it is still the first month of the season, and I am still somewhat homeless and living in no-mans-blog-land. I’ve done worse!
In April we have two weddings – I just also happen to be entering the third trimester of my pregnancy, so maternity evening wear has been on my mind. Comfort is obviously key, and I also didn’t want a ‘maternity’ dress which costs a fortune just for being ‘maternity wear’ and I’m not guaranteed to wear it again (or even like it that much). Instead I just turned to dresses that would work with my growing bump, make me feel smaller than a whale and as a bonus were affordable and something I would wear when not pregnant anyway. I bought this black dress on eBay for one wedding (I’m not working at) and a navy convertible jersey wrap dress which I can work lots of ways and is super comfortable to wear to a wedding where I am both the photographer and a guest. Heels of discomfort are not going to be my friend so I recently bought some bejewelled sandals on sale from Forever New to don at these upcoming weddings.
What will you be wearing this Autumn?

‘Wearing’ is a seasonal fashion post featuring clothing and accessories all available to be purchased online in Australia. Because that’s how I like to shop.

Boden has a great maternity collection. Makes me want to be pregnant just so I can wear the clothes! They have a great dress selection.

Love that dress. I would wear it as a non preggo mama. Elegant and understated. I had a pair of drapey black pants that were my go to for pregnant events – just did the bling thing with a top.
Wearing in Autumn? All sorts of things because the weather doesnt really know what is going on. Down pours but warm and steamy today. Hot last week. Cold one day. Nothing as pretty as that lot though!
