My wardrobe throughout my pregnancy hasn’t changed overly, I’ve been pretty lucky that I’m ‘all belly’ as people keep telling me, which is kind of true – I looks like I’ve just shoved a basketball up my jumper or swallowed a watermelon! I have found dressing for colder weather a bit trickier than if it were still warm, but have been living in the Ripe Maternity black leggings my bestie kindly lent me. My feet have only just started to get a bit puffy so some shoes are a struggle (and getting them or socks on is a definite struggle!) At almost 38 weeks though I can see the end is in sight – I won’t be so front heavy and enormous forever! Apparently. Hopefully.
It seems I’ve just got my maternity wear groove on, but I’m screwing my breastfeeding head on now, stocked up on Bonds feeding singlets like nobodies business. Layers, layers, layers. Easy stretch tops. My inner Melbournian will always go back to black, a pop of colour with a comfy jumper, the trusty leggings and flat ankle boots and I just think I could pull off being a breastfeeding, sleep deprived, frazzled yet comfortable and warm, new first-time mama. Maybe.

So much to look forward to and so exciting to be a first time mother. You can’t go wrong with leggings and a comfy jumper with a gorgeous scarf All the best for the rest of the pregnancy.

You’ll be a gorgeous breastfeeding mama! Long time breastfeeder here that swore by button up shirts, muslin cloths over the shoulder and am now loving being able to wear a dress now without having to consider ‘access’!?
