Wearing Winter

May 23, 2013 by Emma

No more denial: Winter has arrived in all its crisp morning, cosy evening and wooly jumper glory. And with it comes thoughts of practical boots, chunky scarves and knitted dresses. This Winter I’d love to be wearing that gorgeous wool cape and especially those chocolate boots. What would you like to be, or will you be, wearing?

‘Wearing’ will be a seasonal fashion post – a collection curated by me and all available to be purchased online in Australia, because that’s how I like to shop.

Hi Sharon… It’s freezing in Brisbane at the moment.

Emma those clothes look stunning and I can see you entertaining around the fireplace wearing that attire. Last year and this year I have bought a poncho however it was a $30 one from one of the local shops. I would love that stunning wool poncho. Regards Kathy A, Brisbane, Australia

I’m not good at putting together a winter wardrobe but yours is lovely just what I would love to wear. Love the neutral colours too, really pretty. I’m a new follower and just wanted to say hi and tell you how much I am enjoying your photos and seeing more of SA:) x

I have the boots and love that cape idea but sadly we don’t really get enough cold weather up here to sustain a wonderful winter wardrobe like this!! ( jackets hardly get “worn out” from overuse, to be honest!) Oh well, at least you can layer up and I can enjoy the winter through the lens of your camera (whilst wearing my oh so stylish fluffy pink sheepskin slippers!)
